Concrete volume
A quantity take-off for a single element. Not a mix design, programme or pour sequence.
Method
Rectangle: L × W × t, with thickness converted from millimetres. Cylinder: πd²h/4. Allowance is a multiplier, not measured wastage.
Worked slab: 4.5 × 2 × 0.200 = 1.800 m³ net, 1.890 m³ at 5%.
Logic: how this figure is built.
What the volume is
A slab is length times width times thickness. A pad is the same product. A cylinder is πr²h. The page can add an order allowance on top of that solid volume. The allowance is a percentage you choose, not a wastage rate from a standard.
Thickness is the structural thickness, not the finished floor build-up, unless that is the volume you meant. A 200 mm slab entered as 200 m is a thousand-fold error. The form is in metres for a reason.
The volume is the shape you named. A sloping pad, a hopper and a void former are not the rectangular product. Subtract voids before you trust the order.
Use it to turn a modelled outline into a cubic-metre figure for an order screen. It is not a mix design, not a reinforcement quantity, and not a pour sequence.
