What the site is

The Eng Hub is informational and preliminary. It is not a substitute for design or checking by a competent engineer. Results and guidance must be checked by a competent person against the project information standard, the relevant design code and any manufacturer’s data before they are relied on. No professional relationship

Using the site, or emailing us, does not create a contract for services, an appointment or a duty of care. We do not review project information or return designs.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators and read the guides for personal, educational and professional reference. Do not try to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or copy it in bulk by automated means.

Intellectual property

The text, calculators and design of the site belong to The Eng Hub. You may quote short extracts with a link and the checked date of the page. Standards named on the site belong to their publishers and are not reproduced here.

Accuracy and availability

We check pages carefully, as described in the editorial policy, but we do not guarantee that the site is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, The Eng Hub is not liable for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
