Standards these tools do not replace
The calculators use textbook relationships. The standards below are where a design check actually lives. None of their text is reproduced here.
- BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework — information management. The file-name checker is a project convention, not the annex.
- BS EN 1992 and BS EN 1993 — concrete and steel section checks. Beam reactions stop at the moment.
- BS EN 1997 — geotechnical design. Pad pressure is average load over area only.
- BS 7671 — electrical installations. Voltage drop here is a resistivity estimate.
- BS 5975 — temporary-works procedure. This site cannot appoint a coordinator.
- CIRIA C766 — formwork pressure. The tool is the hydrostatic upper bound only.
- DMRB, sewer-adoption guidance and FEH — infrastructure drainage. Rational runoff is a screen.
